ACTPrinter 1.7 has just been released for owners of the iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone. The new app lets users take all their documents with them where ever they go. Owners can have letters, web pages, and emails stored in the device for reading on the go.
Developed by Houdah Software, the app enables users to scan barcodes right off the display of the iPhone or iPod Touch. Users will no longer have to keep printing all those electronic tickets like boarding passes and more.
Other features of the application include; Pinch zoom, landscape and portrait viewing, integration with Mac OS X PDF services, and easy setup. ACTPrinter 1.7 is on the App Store for only $0.99. Users of the iPhone version can get a free upgrade. The Mac client software, ACTPrinter Mac, can be found free of charge on the Houdah Software website.
System requirements; iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch with OS 3.1.3 or later. Mac OS X Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard and Mac with AirPort card.
