Apple iPad & iPhone App: How To Cook Everything

We have informed you recently of a few new apps, including Quickoffice, mobileTV, Word Lens and Engadget’s app, being released across the iPad and iPhone. Now we want to let you know that the ‘How To Cook Everything’ app has been optimized for the iPad.

This is recipe based app version of Mark Bittman’s best selling cookbook. The app contains around 2,000 varying recipes and some illustrations to assist you. There are a few different sections to the app; two useful functions are the built-in Recipe Timer and a bookmarking scheme for your Favorite Recipes.

Another good section is the Shopping Lists, from the recipe you can add the ingredients into a grocery list. If you are having one of those days where you can’t think of what you want for dinner, then this app can help you there too. There is a section to aid you in cooking inspiration; this part of the app will offer you featured seasonal recipes and some of Mark Bittman’s most popular ones.
