Apple iPad: Eight of the best Apps so far

Do you have a shiny new Apple iPad already? If so, you are probably looking to put some third-party applications on it. We have a great article to show you now, which lists eight of the very best so far.

The list comes to us courtesy of Business Week, who have compiled the best apps which have been optimized for the iPad, rather than iPhone apps which have just been tweaked to fit the larger screen.

If you are looking to protect your passwords and other important data, then downloading ‘1Password’ is probably good start for new iPad owners.

Other useful apps include ‘Instapaper Pro’, which keeps a tab on articles you find, but don’t have the time to read them. Then there is classic favourites such as Kindle and Netflix – both of which have been given fresh outings for the iPad.

If you are interested in any of these apps, head to Business Week for full details and the full list. Have you spotted a great iPad app that isn’t on the list? Drop us a comment.
