Apple iPad: Can the iPad Clones Compete – A Look At The Rivals

The Apple iPad has amassed to 2 million sales already since it’s release, but with other models from different companies jumping on the tablet band wagon, can the Apple iPad rivals come close to competing with Apple’s sexy device?

With the Computex Taipeo trade show fairing closer, the IDG News Service are reporting that they are looking forward to demonstrating a list of a dozen or so iPad clones that could, if they are as good as, rival the iPad and make you think twice about what you are purchasing.

With the iPad making the decision to use the iPhone OS, this puts them in a stable position to hold the top spot as the OS is fast and easy to use.

But with the imminent release of the Eee Pad EP101TC and EP121 tablets from ASUS, which use Windows 7 as the baseline OS, and also the LG UX10 tablet, we could be in for an interesting tablet infested 2010.

Acer, Sony, Dell and MSI have also hopped on board the tablet express, intending to show off their devices at the Computex trade show. But with the lack of camera, SD memory card slot, USB connectivity and certain other features that users love, the iPad could certainly fall behind in the pecking order, all considering that the other tablets live up to the success, usability, and stableness of the Apple’s overnight (well, 60 days so far) success.

Do you think any of the new tablets could compete with the iPad?
