Apple iPad Apps: iBooks released, Winnie The Pooh is free

Following on from the availability of iPad Apps on the Apple Store, we can now also confirm that the iBooks App is also available on iTunes along with the iBook Store.

As reported from Apple Insider, Apple are marking the occasion by giving every single user a free copy of the classic ‘Winnie the Pooh’ book by A. A. Milne.

Are you excited about using iBooks on the iPad? It is no doubt that the inclusion of virtual books will provide a new dimension to the tablet device – while also boosting potential sales of the iPad.

Until Apple roll out the service in Europe, iBooks is only available to US customers at the moment. Full details over at Apple Insider.
