Apple iCloud anticipation, more than just music

Earlier today Apple unveiled a schedule for their upcoming WWDC event. The schedule revealed their agenda for the event which includes OS X Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud. Little is known about the iCloud service as of yet but we have news that explains a little more.

It is thought that the service will offer much more than just music, as explained in the article at AppleInsider. Latest claims are that the iCloud will also provide streaming of TV programs and movies also.

According to the article’s sources Apple has been in talks with HBO for over a year and has come across the so called ‘HBO window’ obstacle. This is an agreement that the studios have where when a movie premier is shown, distribution and sales of the title must stop.

If an agreement is met between both HBO and Apple then we could see the video streaming from the company and where else would it be possible, but through iCloud. The main issue is whether or not the deal is struck before next Monday’s keynote.
