Apple event live Oct 22 video stream on TV

The Apple special event will feature a live video stream on TV today and this follows doubts after the 2013 iPhone missed out on such coverage. We just took a look at our Apple TV to find the events app go live within the last hour, so this means you can watch the Apple Oct 22 event via a live video stream if you own their little black box.

We took a few screenshots that are featured on this page and reveal the icon, although once you click it you are given the “Apple Special Event — October 2013” title along with a start time of 10AM Pacific. The description also features the location, and this means the new iPad 5 and iPad mini 2 will be revealed at Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

It is worth pointing out this is a different location to the iPhone keynote, so that is most likely the reason we are being treated to live video streaming of the Apple Oct 22 event today. Keep connected to Product Reviews for all the latest coverage, or get setup with your Apple TV for a high definition stream.

We’ll be watching on a 179-inch screen in our room specifically designed for watching keynotes, do you have an Apple TV or will you look for live video coverage on the official website? Share your thoughts in the comments and also what your expectations are for new products today.
