Apple Back to School 2010: Did you take up offer?

We have seen a number of companies offering a few back-to-school deals where they give a few dollars of for an item, but Apple it seems to have been going one better. Since May 25 to September 7, 2010 they offer either college students or staff members the chance to get a free iPod Touch when they purchase a new Mac.

How can students ever say that get a bum deal when companies such as Apple offer them a free media device — and a 8GB iPod Touch is considered to be one of the best on the market. Maybe this was seen as a final push to off-load all the old stock before Steve Jobs announces the launch of the new model on September 1st, 2010?

The process is simple to get a free iPod Touch; first you have to shop for a new Mac online, in store, an authorized campus store or by phone. Then you need to purchase the iPod Touch and the same time.

One you have done that then simply submit your rebate within 90 days of purchase. For more details visit the Apple Store.
