Apple announces new Emojis for World Day with free update

To celebrate World Emoji Day in style, Apple has just announced that they will be bringing over 70 new Emojis to iPhone and iPad in a free update later this year.

Apple has said the new emojis will be based on approved characters in Unicode 11.0 and will include new emojis such as a bald head, redhead, super heroes, lobsters, kangaroos and much more.

The fact that this will be a free update will be great news to iOS users all over the world as long as you are running iOS 12 – Apple Watch will support these emojis too if you are wondering.

Head over to Apple’s press release here for a preview of other emojis coming, but we think you’ll enjoy the gif we’ve added above as a little teaser of what is in store.
