Apple 27-inch iMac Screen Flicker Problems: Now Fixed?

As you know Apple’s 27-inch iMac’s have taken some criticism due to a screen flickering problem, they have now released their second attempt at a fix for this problem.

This latest fix is titled “27-inch iMac Display Firmware Update 1.0”, previous fixes have attempted to fix the display adapter (video card), however this firmware attempts to fix the display itself.

The new update can be found here and is just 295kb in size, the description sums it up “updates the display firmware on 27-inch iMac systems to address issues that may cause intermittent display flickering”.
