Apex 7 AP-7S118 vs. Lenovo 7 A1000L tablet

When you are on the lookout for a new tablet and have figured out the size and your budget, then you just need to narrow down those choices. It is for those reasons why we thought we would help you out a little and compare two Android tablets of the same screen size, which just so happens to be one of the most popular, 7 inches.

In one corner we have the Apex 7 AP-7S118 tablet, which is pretty much as budget as you can get. And then we have the Lenovo 7 A1000L tablet, which is still in the budget line when compared to the likes of the 2013 Nexus 7, but more expensive than the Apex.

The Apex 7” AP-7S118 specs are nothing special, but are perfect if you have less than $100 to spend or are looking for the next step up from a child’s tablet. Some of those main features are 4GB of storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, up to 4 hours of battery life and Android 4.2 Jelly bean installed.

As for the Lenovo 7” A1000L tablet, you get 8GB of storage, although this can be expanded with a microSD card, 512MB of RAM, 0.3-megapixel camera and also the addition of a Micro USB port. Running the show is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

You can see specs for both vary with the Lenovo having the better features, although the Apex does benefit from updated software. It was obvious that the Lenovo was going to win in terms of specs because it is that more expensive.

We can’t advise you to purchase one over the other because some peoples budgets might not stretch another $30-40, and so we would ask for you just to hold out until the end of November.
