Aperture 3: Now Available from Apple

Earlier today Apple’s Store was down with a notice reading “We’ll be back soon!”, now that the store is back online a new version of Aperture is available.

Aperture 3 is said to include 200 new features and is said to be “the perfect choice if you’re ready to take your photography to the next level”, you can currently buy the software for $199.00, if you own a previous version of Aperture you can upgrade for $99.00.

For those of you who have never used Aperture 3 heres a quick overview of what the software offers, Aperture 3 is said to expand on a lot of the functionality offered in iPhoto.

As mentioned above there are more than 200 new features, some of the most impressive new features include the ability to “organize photos by the people in them using Faces” and to “create stunning multimedia slideshows that weave together HD video, audio tracks, and custom titles”.

To run Aperture 3 you need a Mac running Mac OS X v10.5.8 or v10.6.2 or later, compatible models include the Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, MacBook, MacBook Air, iMac or Mac mini, for further details check out the Apple Store.
