If you are in the market for a new gaming laptop then you may want to consider the Aorus X7 from Gigabyte. Packing plenty of power on almost all fronts, the Aorus looks like a computer which would do every gamer proud, so lets take a closer look at it.
We will start with the super thin design of the laptop which is only 0.9 inches thick. Considering the X7 has a 17.3 inch screen this is quite an impressive feat, as is the lightweight element of only 2.9 KG. Inside the Aorus is loaded with an Intel 4th gen core i7 processor, dual NVIDIA GTX 765M graphics chips and an internal storage capacity of 1 TB.
Gigabyte has integrated an innovative thermal design called fan control which uses 3 different modes to reduce overheating. You can customize your fan setting to either turbo, stealth or auto, depending on your requirements. When your not gaming away and want your laptop to function otherwise, the operating system running the X7 is Windows 8.1.
The Aorus laptop uses a full aluminium chassis design, with built-in NVIDIA 3D vision surround technology. You can read the full tech specs here. Gigabyte has priced their Aorus X7 between $2,099 – $2,799, with the cost being dependent on the package you choose. The laptop will be available in March and will certainly set a new benchmark in computers dedicated to PC gaming.
