Antoine De Saint-Exupery: Google’s The Little Prince Doodle

Fans of the novel The Little Prince will be pleased to hear that author Antoine De Saint-Exupery has been celebrated with a special Google doodle for his 110th anniversary.

As reported from The Telegraph, The Little Prince is the novel which is widely considered to be the author’s best work, and tells the story about his now infamous crash in 1935 in which he and his navigator, André Prévot, were rescued by a Bedouin.

June 29th is now celebrated due to Antoine, and his face also appeared on a 50 Franc note just before the currency was taken over by the Euro. Google’s doodle today leads you to their main search page, where you can read about his life on his wikipedia page.
