The day that many gamers have been waiting patiently (or impatiently in some cases) for has finally arrived today, and I’m talking about the much-anticipated release date of the ‘Gran Turismo 5’ game. Although the title has only just arrived, we are seeing reviews and problems trickle in already.
As recently reported by Robert Workman over at gameplaybook.com, Gran Turismo 5 has received a mixed bag of reviews so far, with some reviews pointing to AI issues. Some have given it a perfect 10/10 while others have given it a slightly lower rating of a 7 or 8, but we all know that there’s no pleasing everyone.
While some of you may think that A-Spec is the highlight of the ‘Gran Turismo 5’ game, the other modes are definitely worth giving a go. For example, you might like to try the Arcade Mode, which allows you to check out some of the quick events such as time trials and drift trials.
There’s also a kart racing mode, for those players who like any type of racing. The online racing in GT5 has been praised in this review. It allows you to set up your own private area to chat with fellow racing fans and watch a race, while you’re waiting for another event to begin.
This review had no complaints about the car handling or the graphic design of the game, but did address the loading times and the damage modeling. You can read the full review via gameplaybook.com. Let us know what you think of the game once you’ve tried it out.
