Android 5.0 update for Nexus 4, 7 located

We had assumed that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie would have been the next build, but it turned out to be 4.3. Now many of the Nexus devices are already enjoying the latest version of Jelly Bean, but for how long we do not know? The reason we say this is because Key Lime Pie has been spotted in an unusual way.

The idea of an Android 5.0 update for Nexus 4 release coming soon is not likely to happen, but there are signs of the team behind Key Lime Pie making a start because the new version of the mobile OS has been seen on several Nexus devices, such as the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7.

While it would be nice to see Android 5.0 update for Nexus 7 2nd generation, which would make it even better, we have to point out that testing is still in its early stages, but looks as though it had been confirmed on the Chromium website, although the link has since been taken removed. However, Techno Buffalo has more details on this.

Most rumors would suggest Android 5.0 would be released in October, which could mean the Nexus 5 would be built specifically around Key Lime Pie. We had assumed to wait a little longer than October, maybe early 2014, but this latest confirmation does look rather promising.

Google has yet to confirm the existence of Key Lime Pie, and the removal of the link could be all the proof we need?
