Android 4.4.3 release baited by writing

The Android 4.4.3 release date has never been closer thanks to the best proof yet that we will be getting a download any moment. This came thanks to a line of text within a video for the Moto E, which only landed on YouTube today along with some text at 40 seconds stating, “the current KitKat 4.4.3 operating system”.

If you own the Nexus 7 or Nexus 5, then you’ll know neither device has seen an Android 4.4.3 release at the time of writing. So, why would an official video on the Motorola Mobility YouTube channel list this text? It could be a mistake, or even a change for the Android 4.4.3 release date after issues with Nexus 5 rollout with Sprint.

We previously published details about the Nexus 7 tablet getting the software update at roughly the same time as Nexus 5, and a number of other Nexus devices. Mix this news with the new Moto E video you can see below this article, then we have a clear picture of the new OS version about to rollout in a matter of days/weeks.

Are you excited that the Android KitKat 4.4.3 download could finally be hitting your tablet or smartphone in May and June?

The screenshot above is the point at 40 seconds in the video, which clearly shows the text for “current” Android 4.4.3, so have a watch of the video below and let us know if you think this is a mistake or clear indication of an imminent rollout. You can also take a look at the Moto E compared to Moto G in a couple of videos below an article published today.
