Amy Winehouse Dead, rumor explodes on Twitter – hoax?

Today we have noticed a rumor circulating on Twitter suggesting that the English singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse has died, currently we cannot verify if this is true, however having checked a few sources it looks like there could be truth to this rumor.

BBC news reported the news recently, however they carefully worded their report. Apparently there are police at her North London home, but no-one has confirmed what exactly has occurred. Someone at BBC said that an ambulance was called at 3.54pm and it arrived in just 5 minutes, however the patient sadly died, whether that patient was Amy Winehouse is unclear, but it is looking likely.

Despite selling over 6 million copies of her album, Back to Black, she suffered from mental health issues and substance abuse. Since cancelling her European tour she has been silent on the official Amy Winehouse Twitter account, we wonder whether the last few weeks have been difficult for her.

Update: Well it has not been 100% confirmed, but a body has been announced dead at her North London home, who that is has not been verified.
