American Airlines’ in-flight entertainment to feature 10.1″ Samsung Galaxy Tab

If you are someone that either has to travel a lot or likes to travel a lot and American Airlines is your regular form of transport then you are going to like the news we have here. It appears those that are privileged enough to travel in Premium accommodation will be experiencing in-flight entertainment unlike any other.

The flight company will be issuing 6,000 new systems that will feature the 10.1” Samsung Galaxy Tab. the Honeycomb tablets will be customized to include expanded memory, American Airlines’ own streaming service and other flight related features.

There are no additional details at this time as to how the company will be integrating these devices into the system or what types of flights they will be on, but you can expect the long distance flights will be prioritized.
