Amazon’s Kindle 2.5 Update: Download Coming

We heard rumors that Amazon was to offer its Kindle 2.5 software update towards the end of May; we have since learned that this will take place soon. According to Darren Murph from Engadget, they have managed to get hold of an image that shows a sneak peak of the new code.

This shows that the update will be available for download very soon — so Amazon Kindle users will soon be able to use their e-readers for more social networking features, which we all know is the future for these kinds of devices.

We have done some digging around and there is no sign of the update just yet, but we know that it is coming very soon — so keep checking often, as you do not want to miss out.

We seem a little confused here, according to one comment on Engadget, an Amazon Kindle owner has already received their 2.5 update — not sure how they managed to do it. Please let us know if you have updated yours
