Amazon offer savings on Kindle Fire tablets

Amazon is currently offering savings on their Kindle Fire tablets for a limited time. From now until March 4th consumers can get a 20% discount off of the Kindle Fire devices plus a free 30 day trial on Amazon Prime which is providing unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows.

This special offer is available as Amazon are celebrating the launch of Amazon Instant Video. This limited time deal can be used to get money off of the Fire HDX, Fire HDX 8.9, Fire HD and Fire HD 8.9. Cnet reports that the 20% discount on these devices will reduce the prices down to £159.20, £263.20, £95.20 and £127.20 respectively.

Whilst the prices of the Kindle Fire tablets are going down, the price of Amazon Prime has been put up. The streaming service subscription used to cost £49 a year and has been put up to £79 on the sly. This special offer from Amazon is only available for UK customers to the disappointment of the rest of Europe and the US, just as the last Kindle Fire promotion was.

Nextbook 7 vs. Kindle Fire HD

The last Amazon deal was to celebrate the company being voted number 1 in customer satisfaction for the 7th year running, offering £25 off. This new 20% discount is by far the best deal Amazon has produced so far, it would be wise to take advantage of the offer if you are looking for a new device.

Alternatively you could wait for the MWC 2014 conveyor belt to start which will produce a huge range of new tablets from almost every technology company. So far we have looked at the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 and Huawei MediaPad X1 from the event. We could also be set to get a Nexus 8 and 10 2 announcement if we are lucky at the Google I/O.

Will you be taking up Amazon’s offer and ordering a cut priced Kindle Fire tablet before the end of the week?
