Amazon Kindle: Now Available in UK at Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy UK

If you prefer to read electronically and were planning on getting the Amazon Kindle but didn’t fancy waiting for your order to ship from the online store, fear not for you can now pick up the e-Reader from your local Carphone Warehouse or Best Buy store.

As of March 11th the latest Kindle from Amazon has been available at 400 Carphone Warehouse stores and all UK Best Buy store, according to the article from Shane McGlaun at Slashgear.

The third generation device will be available in both Wi-Fi only and 3G models in stores. The Kindle’s technology means they have a long battery life and are designed with no backlight which allows for easy reading in well-lit rooms. It has the Pearl E ink that features on its conveniently sized 6” screen.

Up to 3,500 books can be stored at one time on the Amazon Kindle which will set you back £111 at both stores. More details can be found in the article at Slashgear by clicking the link above where you will also find links to the online stores.
