Amazing Xbox One console designs for Year of the Monkey

It is the Year of the Monkey with Asia gearing up to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. Now, we can share some amazing designs from Microsoft who have partnered with local artists to create some unique Xbox One consoles.

It’s part of the Lunar New Year Xbox One Art Series and there are 8 different designs in total. These have been designed from artists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to celebrate the new year in style.

The only downside is that these consoles are not playable and are for design purposes only. As a result, you won’t be able to buy them – but Microsoft are giving them away to lucky fans on social media channels locally.

What the luck is one of our favorite designs, from Hong Kong based designer Jan Curios. The Forbidden X from Cay Kou has to be up there too with one of the craziest Xbox console designs we’ve ever laid eyes on.

Check out the full selection on Xbox Wire here and let us know what you think of them. If you could choose one to buy and play at home, what one would it be?
