Amazing Spider-Man 2 game April release on mobile platforms

As we look forward to the upcoming release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie we are also excited to hear about a new game coming to iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and feature phones next month. The action-packed, open-world adventure is presented by Gameloft as Spidey comes to mobile devices with an original story inspired by the film.

This means all the new villains will be involved including the Green Goblin and Electro, not to mention other iconic foes. Releasing on mobile platforms in April 2014, the latest trailer comes courtesy of developer Gameloft and we have embedded this brief footage below to give our valued readers a taste of what is coming.

This follows the recent reveal of Activision’s Spider-Man 2 game which is also coming out on a number of other platforms including the PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the 2nd May. The video game version is available for pre-order through GAME and those reserving their copies will also be eligible for the Spider-Man 2 Web Threads Suit Pack, which contains a new red and gold Iron Spider suit, a blue and white Cosmic outfit, a pulp-style Spider-Man Noir Suit and the Venom-like Black Suit.
