Amazing New Kinect Hack 3D Effect via Perspective Tech

When you compare the Sony PlayStation 3 to the Xbox 360 one thing in Sony’s favor is its Stereoscopic 3D capabilities, however we recently discovered a video which could potentially bring a 3D effect to Xbox 360 games.

The video is hard to explain, however we have embedded it at the end of this post for you to watch, it basically shows how someone has hooked Kinect up to his PC and setup a very impressive 3D effect which uses perspective and head movement tracking, this gives real depth to standard HDTV’s display.

Obviously the demo video is pretty simplistic, however if you think about the potential it has things get exciting, imagine playing your favorite first-person shooter being able to utilize this tech to look around the map and to spot and hide from your enemies.

Check out the video below and let us know whether it impresses you, we certainly think that game developers should check it out for their future releases, do you?
