Amazing Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer for Independence Day

Independence Day is coming up very soon and what better way to celebrate than to watch a brand new gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. Ubisoft has released a very exciting new taster for the highly anticipated game and we have to say that we particularly love the ‘amazing’ choice of music that the developer has opted for too.

We’ll be the first to say that we’re not really a fan of this current trend of putting ‘dubstep’ music with every single game trailer. A lot of developers seem to be doing it at the moment, but it really isn’t needed half the time. This trailer on the other hand uses a unique version of the popular song ‘Amazing Grace’ and to great effect in our opinion.

The music accompanies an all out war that is taking place on the battlefield between the British and the Americans and we see our hero Connor in a very brief sequence at the end of the clip too. It’s not the best feature filled trailer we agree, but it is a nice treat nevertheless for July 4th.

Can you honestly say that you are looking forward to Assassin’s Creed 3 more than the likes of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 and GTA V? The game has already been given a release date of October 31st and Ubisoft are busy plugging various Limited Editions right now – there’s a lot to choose from.

Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts on it – especially the music choice. Bonus points if you can tell us what version of Amazing Grace this is, in the comments as we’d like to know.
