All-new Toyota Corolla specs, less forgettable for 2014

There’s been a huge amount of anticipation with the 2014 Toyota Corolla, and while some of the previous models have been a bit dull and uninspiring, the all-new model will be far less forgettable. We know that Toyota were gong to unveil something special, not only because of the entertainment during the unveiling, but also the fact that the Japanese car manufacturer aims to get their best-selling model, and the world’s back up to that all-important number one spot.

It’s clear to see that Toyota is aiming for a more youthful market, which was evident with the concept model a few shows ago. The company knows that they needed to make changes, as their rivals have gained a lot of ground, and some models that were not there several years ago have crept up and given Toyota and the tired looking Corolla a kick up the backside.

Thankfully, from the all-new Toyota Corolla changes the rivals could now have to fend off the popular model once again. Although, it’s clear that all is not perfect, but then what car is?

With the new model there is an extra 4 inches added to the wheelbase, but a little under an inch in width, but it does make a difference to its size, although that’s also in part to some clever design work. The overall design is a far improvement over previous models, but this was to be expected, and while many areas of this car have been vastly improved, we have to wonder why there is no leather interior option.

You can go over all the main 2014 Toyota Corolla features on their official website, as well as sign up for more details as they become available. Although, we’ll also keep you up-to-date once we know more. As yet the all-new Corolla price and release date is not known, but once this information has been made available to us we will update you.
