All-new Kindle with touch, more like a toy

Having already taken a look at two new Amazon products, the new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 tablet and the Voyage e-reader, we thought we would now see what is at the other end of the scale. Those two other devices are the best in their categories, but what if your budget cannot stretch that much?

That is where the all-new Kindle e-reader touch comes in, as it is designed for those of you with a more modest budget. Let’s get one thing clear though, this Kindle with its new touchscreen display will feel more like a toy when compared to the Voyage. However, this makes it more tempting because of it being an entry-level model.

The 2014 Amazon Kindle e-reader comes with an all-new touchscreen, which will make life much easier when using. This latest model now comes with a host of features exclusive to Kindle, such as the same software as the Paperwhite model, like FreeTime, Vocabulary Builder, PageFlip, and Word Wise, although this has yet to be released.

All-new Kindle with touch for $79.00

Turning pages is now 20 percent faster compared to pressing buttons like on the outgoing model. The other amazing benefit of this model is double the amount of storage allowing it to store thousands of books.

New Amazon Kindle pricing and availability – If you live in the US, then you will pay just $79 without offers, or $99 with, and will be released on October 2nd, details of which you can find here. For those of you in the UK, the prices are £59 and £69 and will also be released on that same date. Visit Amazon UK to learn more about this latest e-reader.
