Advanced Warfare Gun Game release date close after tease

While we’re sure most of you are addicted to Advanced Warfare multiplayer in its current state, some of you will probably agree that it is missing one aspect in particular from previous games.

That is a Advanced Warfare Gun Game mode. It was thought to be on the way to the game after launch, but so far we haven’t seen it.

For those that don’t know, it’s a mode that originally found fame as a CS 1.6 mod, before Treyarch introduced it as a multiplayer mode in Black Ops.

Players traditionally start off with a pistol, then have to make their way up through the weapons gaining kills, to progress to a stronger weapon such as an assault rifle.

Usually the last round is a knife kill and is the hardest to obtain – once the player achieves it, the game ends and that player is declared the winner.

Sledgehammer’s Michael Condrey recently shared an image on Twitter, which you can see below. It essentially confirms that the Advanced Warfare Gun Game release date is definitely on the way soon since they are already testing it internally.

We love a bit of Gun Game, so hopefully it is coming in an update this month, rather than next. Have you been waiting for Gun Game to arrive since launch?
