Advanced Warfare Double XP weekend for COD Champs

We have news of another Advanced Warfare Double XP weekend for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC players now. Sledgehammer Games has just confirmed the good news and it’s all in aid of the 2015 COD Championships which take place this weekend.

While most of you will be probably be unable to attend the COD Championships in Los Angeles, SH Games is giving all AW players reason to celebrate anyway by turning on the Double XP playlists again.

Once it is active, you’ll be able to rack up double the xp across most game modes and work towards those new Grand Master Prestige levels that should be live on all platforms.

Hours ago, we told you that the 1.11 PS3 update for AW had finally gone live, adding the Grand Master Prestige content to the game and bringing the game up to speed with other versions which received the same update a month ago.

There seems to be an awful lot of these Double XP weekends for the game, but with so much prestige levels to unlock – we doubt players will be complaining too much.

Let us know your thoughts on this latest event – what prestige level are you trying to get up to at the moment? Are you still playing the game on a daily basis?
