Advanced Tactics: Gold – WWII Strategy Game Receives an Update

We have some great news now for those of you that play Advanced Tactics: Gold Edition on their PCs, as we’ve just heard that the popular World War II strategy game has recently received an update. The update brings a number of improvements and bug fixes.

According to a recent article at, both VR Designs and Matrix Games have just released the 2.02b update for the Advanced Tactics: Gold Edition game, which has not only improved the already powerful Editor, but has also reduced load times at start up.

The Advanced Tactics: Gold Edition also comes with an updated manual, a newly revamped scenario bank, new graphics throughout the entire game, more troop types, a greatly improved random game engine, some brand new scenarios and an ever-changing and expanding wiki.

It appears that VR designs have been listening to players’ feedback, so the updated Advanced Tactics: Gold Edition also comes with improvements and changed based upon community feedback. The Random Game mode has been expanded to include new features and game mechanics.
