Adobe Flash 10.1 Delay: New Release Date is 2H 2010

Some disappointing news for those of you looking forward to Adobe Flash 10.1 in the first half of this year, as Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen has revealed that the release date has been pushed into the second half of 2010.

As reported from BGR, Adobe Flash 10.1 for smartphones was initially expected during the best part of 2010, but now we wont see it until further on into the year.

The smartphones in question are for those running Android, webOS and BlackBerry handsets, but there was some good news to come from the CEO.

He hinted that Adobe Flash-enabled tablets will be released at roughly the same time as Flash 10.1, which are thought to be Android or Google Chrome based.

Let us know your thoughts on the delay, more information over at BGR.
