Acer GH245HQ Monitor: UK Release Date, Price and Specs

We have some rather exciting news now for all you PC gamers that live in the UK, as we’ve just got word that Taiwan-based computer and electronics corporation Acer Inc. has recently introduced its very first monitor to feature full support for the 3D HDMI solution from NVIDIA.

According to a recent article by Matthew Chung over on the website, the GH245HQ monitor will enable users to enjoy 3D content through NVIDIA’s active shutter 3D glasses, from devices connected via the dual-link DVI input.

The GH245HQ features LED backlighting, a 24-inch display with a full high-definition resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a pair of built-in 2-watt speakers. As Nick Marshall at recently noted, the monitor also features a 100 million:1 contrast ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Acer GH245HQ monitor — which also comes with a rather impressive response time of 2-milliseconds and a 16:9 aspect ratio — will be arriving in UK stores sometime in mid-March, with a price tag of £419.99. Are you impressed with the GH245HQ monitor?
