Acer ES15 15.6-inch laptop with Intel Pentium review warning

There are so many cheap laptops to buy in the UK and consumers may be feeling that they are spoilt for choice on which model to opt for, with many retailers offering crazy prices which seem to good to be true.

The Acer ES15 15.6-inch laptop with Intel Pentium, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD & DVDRW in black is sold by Tesco this month who are currently running a promotion price of just £199 – available right now online.

Other specs include a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, backlit LED display, HDMI, USB 3.0, Windows 10 Home and up to 6 hours of battery life.

We have to warn you though, that this laptop only comes with a Intel Pentium 3558U dual-core processor which is severely outdated by today’s standards.

For £199 you should probably still expect a quad-core processor, but the Intel Pentium 3558U which is part of the Haswell line of chips is almost three years old now.

It also means that the Acer ES15 laptop is not good for gaming, so don’t make a mistake by buying this believing that it can run the likes of Overwatch and FIFA 17 – it just won’t happen.

For a casual browsing experience, it will serve you just fine but with a dual-core processor laptop there’s going to be a point where it will suffer from occasional dips in performance if you try to perform too many tasks.

Consider this a heads-up if you are currently thinking about buying this from Tesco. A great price at £199 but ultimately you may be better looking for a similarly priced-laptop that offers a faster processor and more RAM.

At the time of writing there are no professional Acer ES15 15.6-inch laptop with Intel Pentium reviews online so if you have any questions about this laptop – Let us know below.
