Acer Aspire RevoView 1080p: Media Streamer Specs & Price

Acer has just released a press release for their new Acer Aspire RevoView 1080p media streamer, it supports a long-list of video and audio formats, so has the potential of being a pretty popular device.

On the front of the media streamer there is a card reader, on the side there are 2 x USB 2.0 ports, and on the rear there is HDMI-out (1080p), an RJ45 port, a mini USB port, optical S/PDIF, component jack and composite jack along with the AC power jack.

The card reader supports MMC, SD, xD, Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro media, as for the USB 2.0 ports you can plug in USB flash drives and external hard disk drives. Perhaps most importantly the media streamer allows you to plug in 3.5” SATA hard disk drives of up to 2GB.

In terms of size and weight it measures in at 220mm x 205mm x 48mm, as for weight it weighs 1921g without a HDD and 2608g with a HDD.

The Aspire RevoView will become available from November 8th and prices will start at £119.99 ($194).
