Acer 15.6 Inch i3 4GB 1TB Laptop reviews positive for 2017

For those who are looking for a new laptop upgrade for 2017, we have some details to give you now on one model that is going to be available with a nice discount during the busy November sales.

This is the Acer 15.6 Inch i3 4GB 1TB Laptop sold by Argos for £289.99 after an impressive £110 discount. Key specs include a 15.6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 2Ghz Intel Core i3 6006U processor, 4GB of RAM, Intel HD 520 graphics, 1TB hard drive and USB Type-C support.

It also has a built-in SD card reader, HDMI port, USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, Bluetooth and features up to six and a half hours of battery life. However, this laptop does not have a DVD optical drive inside, so make sure you are aware of that before buying – on the plus side this will add to the portability of the laptop since it weighs just 2.1Kg.

You should also be aware that with no dedicated graphics card, the Acer 15.6 Inch i3 4GB 1TB Laptop is not good for gaming as the Intel HD 520 graphics won’t be able to handle most games on medium or high settings and will often struggle to hit minimum requirements on many games too.

Still if gaming isn’t your focus and you just want to get on with basic tasks and casual internet browsing and social media, this could be a nice option for you.
