7 best iPad Pro 9.7 cases

It’s only been out for just over two months, yet the iPad Pro 9.7 inch model has proved very popular, although not so certain how well sale figures will keep going, seeing as though overall tablet sales are on the decline. Anyway, let’s try not to think of such things and concentrate on the positive, and that is what people are looking for right now.

Even though this is a smaller version of the original iPad Pro that was introduced last year, it still spots pretty much all the same features, albeit a smaller screen and just a fraction less in terms of performance. Now that you have your new tablet, you might want to think about an accessory such as a cover or case to help protect it.

Here we will have a look at the 7 best iPad Pro 9.7 cases, although we may have to update on this number later in the year, seeing as though more decent cases will be released.

Pad & Quill Contega Thin Case

First up we have the Pad & Quill Contega Thin Case, which reminds us of a book binding, and comes in a choice of several colors, which are Charcoal, Cranberry and Gray. Each time you open and close the case it does give you the feeling of opening a book, well the sound does anyway. Your iPad is kept securely in place, and the magnetic cover makes certain the screen is well protected once closed. There is a small band as well, although we are uncertain as to how secure the Apple Pencil will be if stored there.

iPad Pro 9.7 Griffin Survivor All-Terrain case

If you are one of those that needs some extreme protection, then you may want to consider the iPad Pro 9.7 Griffin Survivor All-Terrain case. There are four color options and these are Black/Black, Black/Blue, Mint/White, and Smoke/Red. The protection that this case allows means that if you so happen to drop your iPad Pro from a height of up to 6.6 feet, then you should have no worries, although we would never advise you to put this to the test. This is all thanks to its foam-lined polycarbonate that helps protect the frame while the tablet sits inside the case. The protective screen is also Touch ID friendly, and there are also plugs for the ports as to not get dirt or dust in them.

Peralta Scarlett Sleeve iPad Pro case

Going back to a case that does not really offer too much protection, but ideal for those of you that just want a nice case to slide your smaller iPad Pro in to, then the Peralta Scarlett Sleeve could be just the cover for you. Well, it’s more a sleeve too tell you the truth and ideal for women more than men. It does offer just some slight protection, as it comes with a scratch-free liner along with a water-repellent outer fabric.

Sena Vettra 360 iPad Pro 9.7 case

The Sena Vettra 360 iPad Pro 9.7 case is also another popular choice amongst owners, as it gives you the best of both worlds by offering a decent amount of protection, while not adding too much bulk. This may look more like a leather book, although only in style only. There are three color choices, and those are black, red or tan, and there is also an Apple Pencil loop to help keep it safe.

Speck SmartShell Plus case for iPad Pro 9.7

You can never go wrong with a Speck SmartShell Plus case for your iPhone, and so obvious that there is one for this iPad Pro. This case is perfect for those of you that love to show off your new tablet, but still want a certain amount of protection, which this case does perfectly. There is the clear back cover, along with a folding front cover to help protect the screen. Everything fits just perfectly, and that front cover also acts as a stand, ideal for watching videos or viewing photos.

Jammy Lizard Leather Smart Cover

If you are more of a business user, then the Jammy Lizard Leather Smart Cover might just be what you are looking for. We not only like the faux leather outer with its tan lining that complements the several exterior colors, but also its robust design.

Fyy Leather Case for iPad Pro 9.7

However, if that is not for you, then maybe the Fyy Leather Case is. There are five color options, and these are Black, Brown, Cyan, Red, Apricot and is made from genuine leather. This is pure luxury on the inside and out, and even though this is not one of those thin cases, it never even tries to be. There are several pockets on the inside, ideal for keeping your Apple Pen safe, along with some of your other items, such as your iPhone.

These are 7 of the best cases for the smaller iPad Pro, although like we said above, we will add to this list later this year once more come to market that appeals to us.
