32GB Nexus 7 price and release a bad secret

We know it seems to be harder for companies to keep secrets in this information flowing age, but the 32GB Nexus 7 price and release has to be one of the worst kept secrets so far this year. It is right there with the new iPad mini as an obvious launch, and the 32GB Nexus 7 has seen the specs and price confirmed again by another retailer.

Within the last 24 hours Office Depot let the cat out of the bag, and put up a page all about the Nexus 7 with 32GB of storage, which had a price of just under $250 and explained that you could order for store pickup or buy online. We even heard from a few PR readers that had managed to order the 32GB Nexus 7 for delivery on Oct 30, although things have changed quite a bit within the last couple of hours.

You won’t find the product on the retailers website anymore, and if you run a search for 32GB Nexus 7 you’ll be met with a message stating the item is “not available for purchase at this time“. This follows similar leaks from other retailers in the UK as well as the US, which also saw pages pulled after orders were placed.

At the end of last week we saw the 32GB Nexus 7 tablet leave one Staples store in the US, and you can see in our earlier article that the person managed to get hands-on, which they proved with a receipt and video. Following this leak we saw UK retailers start to drop the price of the 16GB Nexus 7 by around 10 percent, and also it is said that the 8GB version is being discontinued to make room for the new 32GB Nexus 7 option.

With the 32GB Nexus 7 release date just days away, the official one, are you ready for an upgrade? You can take a look at the iPad mini vs. Nexus 7 specs in this article, although we know some people decided the better tablet some time ago.
