240GB of PS4, Xbox One HDD space for upcoming AAA games

Most of you will already be aware that this Holiday season is shaping up to be massive in terms of big name titles coming out on PS4 and Xbox One.

Have you ever actually considered the constraints that your console will come under though in terms of install size needed on the 500GB PS4 and Xbox One hard drives?

There are seven huge games coming out that most gamers will consider picking up every single one. These are Black Ops 3, Fallout 4, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Star Wars Battlefront, Just Cause 3, Halo 5 Guardians on Xbox One and the Uncharted Collection on PS4 – the latter of which is already available.

The guys over at Finder have compiled a eye-raising chart revealing that gamers are going to need around a whopping 240GB hard drive space if they are to install every one onto their hard drive – taking into account Halo 5 and the Uncharted Collection on top which are console exclusives on Xbox and PlayStation respectively.

This could be alarming for those that are already running out of space and are definitely considering picking up the majority of those games on the list.

Black Ops 3, Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront are certain buys for most gamers and we imagine that the interest in the new Assassin’s Creed, Just Cause and Halo 5 are just as high.

It’s also fascinating to see that out of the games listed, Fallout 4 has one of the smallest file size requirements – given the fact that most would have predicted that it would have the biggest due to the nature of the scale of Fallout typically.

Is this a wake up call for you that you need to start making space for these games as soon as possible? Let us know out of the games above, which you intend to buy and if you are even planning to get all of them.
