The wait is over for Nissan Altima fans, as Nissan has finally unveiled the new 2019 Nissan Altima at the recent New York Auto with some big surprises.
The big highlight for many Altima fans is that the 2019 model will be the first Altima model to come equipped with an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, which will be available on all trim levels that offer a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine.
On top of AWD, the 2019 Altima will also offer a world’s first with their turbo inline 4-cylinder engine which can produce V6-level performance with 4-cylinder fuel economy. It also brings enhanced fuel economy and cleaner emissions compared to the previous Altima.
Inside, there’s premium features all over the interior, with NissanConnectSM offering both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support on top of an 8-inch multi-touch color display.
There’s no official word on how much the new model will cost yet, but the 2019 Nissan Altima release date is scheduled for Fall 2019 so that is something to look forward to.
