Apple offers free repair service for faulty iPhone 8 models

Apple has announced some important and somewhat surprising news for iPhone 8 users now that everyone should be aware of. The company has now determined that certain models are prone to a logic board fault and as a result, Apple has opened up a free repair service program.

The fault can cause iPhone 8 models to constantly freeze, restart or even not turn on in some cases. Apple has determined that this is happening to iPhone 8 models that were sold between September 2017 and March 2018 and in the following regions – USA, Hong Kong, China, Australia, India, Macau, Japan and New Zealand.

If you have an iPhone 8 in the above countries and have been suffering from any of the mentioned issues, you can now enter your serial number here and proceed to getting a free repair from Apple.

It’s important to note that iPhone 8 Plus models are not affected by the fault, so this is exclusive to iPhone 8 models only.
