New iPhone X specs sheet from analyst with 6.1-inch delay

With just weeks to go until Apple’s highly anticipated September iPhone event, more details are beginning to emerge on the plans that Apple has with regards to announcing three new iPhone models simultaneously for 2018.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has now shared more details on the upcoming iPhone refresh, suggesting that contrary to previous reports – the new iPhone X models will now not come with Apple Pencil support.

On top of this, he believes that the 6.1-inch LCD based iPhone will be delayed and won’t be ready for launch in September, leaving consumers with an initial choice between the 5.8-inch iPhone X and the larger 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus.

A purported specs sheet for the three iPhone models has been revealed, showing the differences in price and features between the devices.

If accurate, the iPhone X models will carry higher storage and RAM capacity, better displays and larger batteries – All three are expected to run on the Apple A12 processor.

Remember that all of the information is still rumor and speculation, so take it with a pinch of salt for now until Apple’s event takes place in a few week’s time.

What are your thoughts on the rumored 6.1-inch iPhone delay though – does it matter to you, or is the iPhone X going to be your next purchase?
