Samsung has finally announced official details on the Galaxy Tab S4, including release date, pricing and availability for the USA market after weeks of speculation.
The successor to the Galaxy Tab S3 is going to be superior in almost every way, starting with the display screen which is now bigger at 10.5-inches compared to the 9.7-inch Tab S3.
It’s a lot more powerful too, as now Samsung are packing a Snapdragon 835 processor inside the Tab S4, along with 4GB of RAM and a choice of either 64GB or 256GB of memory.
The Tab S4 display boasts a higher resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels as well compared to the Tab S3, while the selfie camera has been upgraded too from 5MP to 8MP.
One of the biggest plus points that we saw with our Tab S3 review was battery life, but with the Tab S4 there is going to be an even bigger battery on board with a 7300mAh capacity – fast charging is once again supported.
Here are the important details you need to know though. The price will be set at $649.99 for the 64GB WiFi model and if you want more storage, you can pay $749.99 for the 256GB model instead.
Like the Tab S3, an S-Pen is included inside the box but if you want the accompanying Keyboard Cover for the Tab S4, you will need to pay $149.99 for it – Samsung are however, running a half price Keyboard Cover promotion on their website if you pre-order the Galaxy Tab S4 before the launch date of August 10.
Pricing and availability has not yet been announced for the UK, but once Samsung releases those details we will let you know – you can however, pre-register to be notified first.
Thoughts on the new Tab S4 everyone, worth an upgrade in your eyes?
