Some disappointing news for gamers to take into account now, as it has been revealed that Black Ops 4 will have a Season Pass and gamers will be forced to buy the Pass if they want to enjoy all content for the game after release.
In other words, there will not be an option for Black Ops 4 maps to be bought separately, which has been a normal trend for previous games down the years.
For unknown reasons though, Activision is making players buy the entire Pass although we don’t know how much the Black Ops 4 Pass will cost yet.
As you can imagine, the news hasn’t gone down well especially after many gamers believed initial rumors that Black Ops 4 wouldn’t have a Season Pass at all.
I’m still gonna buy Black Ops 4, but the fact you have to buy the season pass to get all the map packs and no longer get them individually, is stupid. You’ve just lost me and many other DLC customers @Activision @Treyarch We can’t all afford £39.99/$49.99 in one go, your loss.

It’s also worth pointing out that Battlefield 5 won’t have a Season Pass this year while Bungie has announced a similar move for Destiny 2 by making future Crucible maps free. Black Ops 4 Pass will include 12 multiplayer maps on top of four ‘exclusive’ characters for the Battle Royale mode Blackout, but games such as PUBG make their multiplayer maps free to all.
Let us know your thoughts on this and if you are still willing to buy the Pass, or if you think Activision should revise their decision.
