The Black Ops 4 hype train is well and truly off and running and now we have the news from Activision and Treyarch that pre-ordering a copy of the game will get you access to the upcoming Black Ops 4 beta.
The beta has been labelled a ‘private beta’ too, meaning that pre-ordering the game may be your only route into early access if Treyarch decide against having a public beta for the game.
We know that the beta will be offered on PS4, Xbox One and PC but Treyarch hasn’t revealed a release date yet for when the Black Ops 4 beta will start.
It’s also important to note that Sony and Activision are still in partnership meaning that PS4 pre-orders may get longer time with the beta in addition to timed-exclusive DLC which we saw with Call of Duty World War 2.
How to get into the Black Ops 4 beta: If you want to secure your access to the beta early, you can pre-order the game over at Tesco – click here for PS4 and here for Xbox One. The good thing about doing it now, is that Tesco has already said that if the price drops at any time before the game launches on October 12, they will refund the difference straight away.
The Black Ops 4 beta will obviously include a preview of online multiplayer since there is no campaign this year, but the big question is whether the beta will also include a taster to Blackout – Treyarch’s answer to Battle Royale made popular on games such as Fortnite and PUBG.
Pre-order through the link above and let us know if you how excited you are for this year’s game compared to WW2.
