We have some important news for Amazon shoppers now, as the company has had to recall 260,000 Amazon Basics Power Bank chargers due to a potential fire and chemical burn risk.
The recall has been announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission as of March 13,2018 and affects six models of Amazon’s Basic Power Bank charger range.
There has been reports of 53 of the affected models overheating and if consumers are in possession of one of the models, they should unplug it and stop using it immediately.
With that said, the affected Amazon Basic Charger recall models are as follows:
The recall has been announced for the US and Canada, but there are reports it will be soon extended to the UK as well, so consumers need to be aware of this.
