Dota 2 Plus contents explained with March 2018 update

A new Dota 2 update has just gone live for March 12, 2018 and a bombshell has just been dropped by Valve with the introduction of Dota 2 Plus, a new monthly based subscription service.

Dota Plus is going to be the new version of the Majors Battle Pass. Valve has said that they intend to make Dota Plus an “ongoing, uninterrupted service filled with features that provide both progression and opportunities for improvement”.

Take a look at this general breakdown of what Dota Plus includes, with the price set at $3.99 per month or for a discounted price if you pay for 6 months or 12 months in one go.

As you can see, there’s a new currency called Shards which you will now earn whilst hero levelling. There are also Weekly Victory reward shards and 20,000 free shards as first time completions for welcome quests.
