Could Microsoft’s Folding Tablet be the gadget of 2018?

We are set to be wowed once again with some amazing gadgets in 2018 that consumers will be desperate to own, but how many of you are specifically waiting for solid information on Microsoft’s folding Tablet that has started to attraction a lot of attention in recent weeks?

Evidence is now mounting that Microsoft could be planning to unleash an innovative new product this year, a tablet/phone hybrid that has the ability to fold in multiple ways.

Firstly, patent filing by Microsoft for a ‘hinged’ device has shown up on the World Intellectual Property Organisation website, along with various diagrams showing the first glimpses of what the tablet may look like – you can see all of these images here along with the patent information.

Now, we have our first 3D renders of those patent images, which have been brought to life courtesy of designer David Breyer.

We now get a realistic look at what Microsoft could be plotting this year and we have to say that this device could be a big seller in 2018 with a lot of interested consumers eager to get their hands on one.

Microsoft’s folding tablet has a codename of Andromeda and it will be interesting to see if it pops up at CES 2018 or MWC 2018 this year.
