We have some exciting rumors now to share with you, regarding the upcoming 2018 iPhone refresh which will happen in September during Apple’s annual iPhone event.
According to the latest comments from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities, Apple may be planning to drop the iPhone X 2018 price by as much as $200.
Not only that, but Apple may introduce as many as three new iPhones in 2018 with the cheapest being an LCD-based 6.1-inch iPhone which will be priced between $600-700.
Many consumers were put off by the hefty $999 price tag for the 1st gen iPhone X but if Ming-Chi Kuo’s forecast is accurate then the 2nd generation iPhone X with an OLED display will be available for between $800-900 making it a lot more attractive.
That leaves the highly anticipated iPhone X ‘Plus’ or iPhone XL that is rumored and Kuo believes that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone X will be available for $900-1000.
Obviously nothing is official yet, but this is very exciting news for Apple fans if it turns out to be true. If you skipped on the iPhone X, let us know if a price cut by up to $200 changes anything for you and if you would buy the 2nd-gen model for $799.
