Hisense 55R6D 55″ 4K Roku TV reviews missing

Everyone is looking for the best prices on 4K TVs right now in the US and one model which caught our eye that is selling for a low price during the Holiday season is the Hisense – 55R6D 55″ Class 4K Ultra HD HDR Roku TV.

This TV is available to buy from Sam’s Club at the moment for the low price of $348 after a $100 discount. A 55-inch 4K TV with HDR and Roku is very appealing to say the least, so what does it offer for the price?

Hisense 55R6D specs include a 3840 x 2160 resolution, 4K UHD upscaling, 3 HDMI ports, HDR or High Dynamic Range, 120 Motion Rate, 60Hz native refresh rate, built-in WiFi, DTS Studio audio and 1 USB port.

The Smart features on this model are available via the Roku platform and according to Hisense it will give you instant access to 4,000 streaming channels so you won’t have any problems with a lack of content to watch on this TV.

It’s worth highlighting though that the Hisense 55R6D only supports basic HDR not the higher standards such as HDR10 or Dolby Vision. That means it will still be a good option as a gaming TV for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, but you won’t be able to enjoy the full benefits of it as you’ll need HDR10 for that.

For more information on this model, we’ve picked out the official Hisense 55R6D tech specs list here and also the manual to download in PDF format if you love doing your research ahead of purchase.

Unfortunately, as this model is brand new there are currently no Hisense 55R6D reviews online at the time of writing. For anyone that is thinking of buying it from Sam’s Club though for $348, leave your own user reviews below on if you are happy with your purchase.

If you have any Hisense 55R6D problems that you need help with, leave your questions below in our discussion section.

Note: The Hisense R6 Series are also available in a smaller 50-inch Hisense 50R6D model and a larger 65-inch Hisense 65R6D 4K TV for anyone who is looking for a different size.

I did get one from Sam’s and so far I really like it. I did not have a 4k set previous to this one, so I am not able to compare it. I just ordered it without looking at it at a store. Colors are good and Roku works well. It was easy to set up and adjusting it was easy. So far so good.

I ordered it last Thursday and it arrived on Monday. The display looks great and if I’m not mistaken it does now support HDR10, but I need to verify that. The problem that I have, and I have been talking to customer support for both Roku and Hisense for days, is motion smoothing. There’s no way to disable it. I’m still learning about these techs but I’m afraid it has to do with the 120hz motion rate 60hz native. Any thoughts?
